How did Sparrow Travel get its start?
Sparrow Travel started about two years ago out of my desire to educate people. I love learning about new cultures, and I feel the best way to do it is to experience it first-hand. Traveling allows us to see and feel things in a new light, and can even challenge us to think differently. Of course, traveling is also a great way to relax and have fun.

Sparrow Travel offers services by land, air and sea. Special services include cruises, escorted tours, honeymoon registration, couple’s getaways, group travel and travel as a fundraiser. I love planning all aspects of travel, however, eventually I hope to focus cruising and travel to Asia.

What trends are you seeing in the travel industry?
Despite what some people believe, I don’t think travel agents will ever become obsolete. I meet more and more people every day who have stopped using internet travel services for various reasons. In addition to offering the human connection, travel agents can provide advice and tips as rules and regulations become increasingly complicated.
